started this trip on Stony Creek. Absolutely beautiful but really tough to get to.
I was told this stream held some nice wild browns and indeed it did. I missed a bunch (had 'em hooked but they got off) and netted a couple more.
Plunge pools, riffles and runs. A challenging stream to fish but I bet it comes alive in nice weather. I was plagued with rain and cool temps.
It was scenic though with plenty of water.
No fish of any size but when they are this pretty they don't need to be big.
I will certainly visit this stream again but I might take a partner next time...it was rough.
